Taishi
Kamiya
Born in Hokkaido, Japan.
Kamiya finished a master’s course from the Faculty of Engineering, Hokkaido University.
He also graduated from Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design (CIID), where he learned engineering and interaction design.
From 2006 to 2018, he was involved in research and development of new ways to enjoy music at Yamaha Corporation. His works included the planning and development of new technologies and products such as sonote technology, and promotion of mechanisms, strategies, and structure development for new business creation, such as Start-up Sketching. From 2019, he promoted the “envisioning studio” platform for business creation with a new value at Konica Minolta, Inc.
He is also active as a sound artist and publishes his works. He practices an approach to connect art and business and researches its methodologies.

He is a part-time lecturer of Joshibi University of Art and Design since 2015 (to 2016)
He joined TAKT PROJECT in 2018.
